Adds are very annoying but not bad.

Detects and Connects to TV, tv acknowledges connection but when I try to use it it will not work

Im really impressed that just one dude made this app. Granted, you have to have both on the same wifi network, but thats what most people do at home anyway.

1). If your tv is connected via Ethernet cord, this will not work at all as your phone is on wifi and even if the cord comes from your wireless router, they are technically different networks. 2) Even set up correctly, it does not work. I get zero response from all keys. All I get is a pop up that says wait 30 seconds. 3). When I re-establish connection with the TV it say success yet no button response. 4). During setup, it asks if you want remote power turned on. I accidentally said no, so it said to go into your tvs settings to change. There is no setting for this on my tv. I am using a 2015 Sony XBR-55X810C 55in 4K UHD Smart LED manufactured in Nov 2015.

When I had a Samsung phone I could connect to any TV as long as I was in the same room as it and knew the model of it. No wifi required. So this is complete crap that this app requires it even though the app is for a specific TV. Cmon!

For the Bravia in WiFi the need to turn on the wifidirect function on your tv set I am connected through wire for my DLNA to work but to use this remote you need to turn on the wifidirect. A suggestion if I open the youtube apps on my TV I was expecting that the keyboard template to show up to type directly the name of the video that I was looking for but what a surprise that is the same as my tv remote so no use for it just take longer to type since you have to type using a bigger screen. LL. Apps removed.

Couldnt get it to work 1 time, after 2 weeks finally deleted. Seemed more interested in selling none ad time!

Have all the prerequisite setup and configuration as listed and it does not recognize a brand new 65" unit... Use the remote provided with the tv.

Doesnt work at all - TV is aware of app and device app is running on but this app does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but post a message saying: "Is you TV turned on ...?." . Plus you pay $1000s for a TV and then have to cough up another $8 so you can use this (useless broken) app without having to endure a 5 second advert everytime you start the app. Ridiculous. Ive bought my last Sony product - what unmitigated garbage.

Works without a problem! Sad people dont know how to use this app and give it a bad rating based on user error! Thanks for this app!

I like it, but it could REALLY use a button to control the widescreen settings of the TV. The price to disable ads is too steep and therefore I wont pay it. $1-2 seems reasonable.

Followed every instruction, know I did everything right, will NOT WORK!!!!!! Wasted time!!

Constant adds pop up and hassle you to buy stuff. Its just a marketing tool. I didnt pay $2,000 for a tv app that would have unending popups. Sony wrote this to make money, not to help you use their expensive product.

Wasted my time and money trying to get this app to connect and work as described. I contacted the company with no response. Buyers beware!

Both my tv AND my phone are on the same network on wifi and yet it still said that they werent on the same network. I only have 1 wifi network and the tv is on wifi not plugged in.

Very poor app

This app does not work at all! Purchased a Sony 4K on 2/28/16. Installed it. Set it all up. Did all updates. Installed app today(2/29/16). Got code n all it does is I get a pop up on the bottom of my phone screen that ask me if my TV is on n connected to same wifi. Duh! That was part of TV install n set up.

Very easy to use and works awesome.
