Sonymote : Remote for Sony TV App Reviews

Had high hopes but it couldnt recognize my Sony tv and the ads are VERY intrusive!!

Once I linked the app with the tv, clearly on the same network, the app would say the tv needed to be on for at least 30 seconds on the network. Which it was. After paying for the ads to be removed since I figured this app would be handy, it clearly was a huge waste of money and I want a return!

No matter what : Ip wont match with network, Tv doesnt discover device and app dont respond even at any single option....well well, how can Anyone be connected to wi-fi with Bravia while in need of a wi-fi connection .........any device can actually do both at the same time!! Forget the annoying ads , it totally stinks folks, YEAR 2016 Dudes,Get a grip!

App links up fine with the tv but then none of the apps functions work. Useless app. Ads are brutal, too. Deleted.

The app works for me but the ad is painfully annoying. $11 to make it go away? Even if I do make the idiotic decision to pay, Ill always rate this 1 star for the absurd price. $5 maybe, anything over $10 is ridiculous. Actually... Get the "Video & TV SideView" app by Sony Corp and youll control your TV for free.

Not working with sony X9 series.

After reading so many bad reviews, I was skeptical about the app. But then my remote broke, so I thought why not give it a try. It works good. One problem is the add you need to wait for it to pop up, to close it before you use the app. Other than that. Im happy with it.

Man i love this app

It works great but Ive downloaded and deleted the app 3-4 times now and every single time there is no button to turn the TV off like advertised. In all of the advertisements they show a little red button in the top right hand corner and there is nothing on mine. I have downloaded on my iPhone and iPad and neither show the button.

Well I never got to use it. It recognize my TV immediately, however that was as far as I got. It tells me to make sure both are on the same wifi and I know they are!!!!! I miss the Lg tv. I got a new Sony 3D tv and the 3D is ok but no sure if Im a Sony fan!!!

It doesnt work but if it did work, I wouldnt use it because the advertising is too intrusive.

Mostly advertising that gets in the way of using the app

Just ads and doesnt even connect to television

Dont get this app its a waste it never connects

A piece of time wasting crap

Doesn’t connect to the tv even after entering access code, ads constantly flashing up, what’s the point? Don’t waste the time or bandwidth downloading.
